A Day at the Pond

Bangkok is full of water. Some of it's been drained; some of it's been covered in concrete. But there's still plenty running in clongs, collecting in trash lined ponds, and sitting beneath homes made of wood and corrugated steel.

Today, I went near the old railway that runs along Thanon Makkasan. I think the flowers on the ghost tree were working. The pond yielded a fish for every plastic bag, and by the looks of the place, that has to be a good day.
